About David N. Adler

David N. AdlerDavid N. Adler has maintained a diversified estates, wills and trusts practice over the past 30 years with a particular emphasis on functioning directly with clients in resolving their estate problems. His practice has encompassed all facets of probate and administration proceedings, preparation of wills and trusts, transfer tax planning, and kinship.  It focuses on the New York City area (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island), and surrounding counties (Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester).

Mr. Adler has occupied a primary role in the Queens County Bar association, in which he has served as President, and Chairman of the Trusts and Estates Section for 24 years.  He organizes, and moderates an annual seminar in conjunction with the Surrogate’s Court which serves as the primary legal education vehicle in the field of trusts and estates for the County. He has hosted a  television show on Public Television in the area of Planning your Estate.

His participation on the New York State Bar Association Executive Committee for Trusts and Estates, and the Surrogate’s Court Advisory Committee is further evidence of his commitment to his chosen field.  He has written a number of articles encompassing various aspects of estates practice, and has been published in The New York State Bar Journal, The  New York Law Journal and The Queens Bar Bulletin. His work in the area of kinship has incorporated aspects of international law with respect to representation of foreign distributees, genealogical research, and tax apportionment between countries. The particular nature of his practice often involves personal contact with clients, and his ability to break down technical aspects of law into a coherent format as a guide to practical solutions is well known. He is AV PREEMINENT rated by Martindale Hubbell, their highest rating granted, and has been selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in American Law
